Jamia Binoria Darul-Ifta, (Karachi, Pakistan)

A Sunni educational institution based in Karachi, Pakistan, Jamia Binoria was founded in 1978 by Mufti Muhammed Naeem. Jamia Binoria Pakistan offers istifta service (answers to questions posed by those who follow Jamia Binoria's interpretation of Islamic tradition or law) via e-mail to provide Islamic solution of everyday problems." It is affiliated with Ittehad Tanzeematul Madaris-e-Deeniya (ITMD), a confederacy of five religious education boards. At one time, Jamia Binoria was believed to have had the highest enrollment of foreign students in Pakistan. But international enrollment dropped following the September 11, 2001 attacks against the United States. In 2005, the school had around 3,000 male and 500 female students, including those from United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany and the Far East.
