Dr. Sano Koutoub Moustapha, (b. 1966 in Kankan, Guinea) was educated at the University of Zaituuna in Tunisia and received his Masters degree in comparative jurisprudence from the King Saud University in Saudi Arabia in 1992. He was an affiliate of the Ministry of Education in France and received a Doctorate from the International Islamic University in Malaysia in 1996 in the area of Islamic jurisprudence. He is a member of the Islamic Fiqh Academy affiliated with the Organization of the Islamic Conference. He is a professor of Jurisprudence and its Principles at the International Islamic University in Malaysia and Director of the International Institute of Muslim Unity.
