Muhamad Saed Ramdan Al-Bouti (b. 1929 in the village of Jilka, Turkey) received his training at the Institute of Islamic Guidance in Damascus, and joined the faculty at Al-Azhar University. He was appointed instructor in the college of law of Damascus University in 1965 and held numerous high administrative roles. He speaks Turkish, Kurdish, English and Arabic and has published many books on the sciences of religion, literature, philosophy and sociology. He holds a membership in the Royal Society of the Islamic Civilization Researches in Amman, Jordan and is also member in the High Council of Oxford Academy in England.
