Homosexuality is forbidden for both men and women. The punishment for homosexuality between men is more severe because it can be punished as adultery - some Islamic jurists have said by death. Women are reprieved . . .

The ruling for a man who engages in homosexual acts is that of an adulterer: if he is unmarried then he will be flogged one hundred lashes. If he is married, he will be stoned to death. It has been said, "However performs the act and whoever it is performed upon shall be killed by the sword." It has been said, "Both of them shall be thrown from a mountain cliff."

As for a woman with another woman, she will be disciplined by beating and shaming until she ceases to engage in these bad habits. It is the responsibility of the guardians of both women to give them moral instruction, remind them of God's punishments, and give them honest work to do that will turn them away from this habit. The goal of the path is God.

And God knows best.

بسم الله،والحمد لله،والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله،وبعد 

الشذوذ الجنسي بين الرجال أو النساء حرام،ولكنه بين الرجال أشد ،والرجل يأخذ حكم الزاني ،وقال بعض الفقهاء بالقتل،أما المرأة فإنها تعذر .

يقول الدكتور محمد بكر إسماعيل الأستاذ بجامعة الأزهر :
: الشذوذ الجنسيُّ بين رجلينِ يُسمَّى "لِواطًا" وهو أشدُّ من الزنا جُرمًا وأعظمُ منه خَطرًا، ومثله تمامًا الشذوذ الجنسيُّ بين امرأتَينِ ويُسمَّى "سِحَاقًا" وذلك بأن تَعلوَ المرأة على المرأة كما يَعلو الرجل عليها ويَلتَقِي بَظْرُها ببَظْرِها.

وحُكم مَن يُمارس اللواط كحُكم الزاني؛ إنْ كان لم يَسبق له الزواج يُجلدُ مائةَ جلْدةٍ، وإنْ كان سبَق له الزواج رُجِمَ بالحجارة حتى يموت، وقيل: يُقتل الفاعِل والمَفعول به بالسيف. وقيل: يُلقَى كلٌّ منهما من شاهِقِ جَبلٍ.

أما المرأة مع المرأة فإنهما يُؤدَّبانِ بالضرب والتعيير؛ حتى يَمتنِعَا عن مثل هذه العادة السيئة، وعلى وَلِيِّ أمر كلٍّ منهما أن يَعِظَها ويُذكِّرها بعذاب الله، ويَشغلها بعملٍ شريف يُلهيها عن هذه العادة.وعلى الله قصد السبيل.
