Iraqi Shi’ite cleric criticized the U.S. over Qur'an burning in Afghanistan
Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Shiite Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI) said that the burning the Holy Qur'an by one of the American soldiers inside a U.S. base in Afghanistan is the result of hatred, rancor and weakness, stressing that coexistence among religions cannot be done without spreading the culture of harmony and acceptance of others.
