She may do that only if her life is under jeopardy. In addition, if giving birth to the child raises such a harsh scandal that it would not be tolerable for her, she can abort the child, provided that the fetus has not reached a stage at which God's spirit blows in the fetus. Otherwise, she is not allowed to do so unless her life is at risk; and should pay the blood money.
آيا زنى كه از راه حرام يا ازدواج پنهانى - مانند متعه - حامله شده است، در صورتى كه احساس حرج (سختى شديد) يا احساس خطرى از ناحيه جامعه كند، مى تواند سقط جنين نمايد؟
* اين كار در صورتى جايز است كه ادامه حاملگى، زندگى اش را با خطر روبه رو كرده و يا ننگ شديد و ناراحتى فوق طاقت برايش پديد آورده باشد، به شرط آن كه جنين به مرحله نفح روح نرسيده باشد. پس از دميده شدن روح جايز نيست مگر آن كه خطرى حتمى، حيات زن را تهديد كرده باشد.
