Summary of response: If a woman lost her virginity on premarital sexual relation and if her actions were not known by people then it is permissible for her to repair her hymen. Moreover, the doctor has permission to do this surgery.

من المعلوم بالدين بالضرورة أن الإسلام قد حض على العفاف واستعظم أمـر الزنا وعـده مـن الكبائر وأمر بسد كل ما يوصل إليه من نظر وخلوة ونحو ذلك قال تعالى: { وَلاَ تَقْرَبُوا الزِّنَى إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَاحِشَةً وَسَاءَ سَبِيلًا } [الإسراء :32] )بل جعل جزاءه إذا ما وصل إلى الحكام إقامة الحد قال تعالى :{ الزَّانِيَةُ وَالزَّانِى فَاجْلِدُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا مِائَةَ جَلْدَةٍ } [النور :2] إلا أن الأصل في الشريعة هو الستر على الأعراض كما ورد في الحديث الشريف عن عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ - رضى الله عنهما - أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلـم- قَــالَ :
